While most of the programs are open source and therefore free to everyone, it's always nice to have them already installed on your server.
We would offer a word of caution. When hosts offer large amounts of disk space and bandwidth, it's usually because they don't plan for their customers to actually use those allocations. If all customers did, they simply couldn't afford to make the offer inexpensive. Low priced hosting may mean that a large number of accounts are on each server, which can mean more down time, less security and slower servers.
